Saturn (planet)

From Wikipedia

Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun. It is the gas giant, meaning it is made of the lot of gas and might not have any solid ground. It has very large rings made of ice and rocks around it.

Saturn is flattened at the poles, and it swells out around its equator. This is because it rotates very quickly. Saturn is the only planet in the solar system that its density is less than the density of water. Because of this, if Saturn was placed in the large pool of water, it would float on it.

Saturn has many moons. Thirty of the moons have names, the rest do not. The moons discovered before the 1980s are called Titan, Rhea, Iapetus, Dione, Tethys, Enceladus, Mimas, Hyperion, Phoebe and Janus. Titan is the largest moon of Saturn. In December 2004 and January 2005, lots of nearby photos were taken, thanks to the man-made satellite called the Cassini-Huygens probe. One part of this satellite even landed on Titan.
