Article banners[edit]To mark each article the subject of a student project, add the {{course assignment}} template at the top of the talk page for each article: {{ course assignment | course = Template:Course page 2 | term = }} That will result in the following banner (which lets other editors know that you're working on it):
Usage[edit]This template is designed to walk teachers through the creation of a standardized Wikipedia assignment course page in the Education Program: namespace, with step by step instructions for adding Course description, Timeline, and Grading sections. To begin, the template should added as the (only) content of the Page text field of a course page. The sections will be created as talk subpages (which can then be edited by anyone, not just those who can edit the course itself). This template takes the parameter term, which is optional but strongly recommended.
The parameter can be added (or changed) before or after the course page is fully built. Example[edit]{{course page wizard|term=2013 Q3}} See Education Program:Example University/Example Course (2013 Q1) for an example of the output. The relevant example subpages are:
Components[edit]The content of the course page is added to subpages, and the creation of each subsequent subpage triggers instructions for starting the next one. The subpages and related instructions include:
The code for the bar of links at the top of course pages is at {{Course page 2/Header}}. See also[edit]{{Course page}} |
