Moved Taiwan content to new page on Taiwan. All of these are still stubs.

I moved the history part from the People's Republic of China page and tried to make it more Simple English. I think we still need to fix parts of this. How can we say "unconditional surrender"?

Separate articles on History of China to cover everything up to Mao's death and the new regime, and Culture of China would be ideal. Statistics, demographics, industries, energy sources, and all the geography, are much more important than history in this article. We should use it as a template for articles on other major civilizations. In other words, get it right first, and then use it to do the same for India, History of India and Pakistan (inseparable really), Culture of India (Pakistan and Bangaladesh can be covered in Islamic culture). The Chinese situation is simpler, so let's try to get it right first.

It's fair to say that People's Republic of China and Republic of China are two different states with their own articles, but, they are not two different cultures historically, and they do not have two different histories. The few issues unique to each can be discussed in the articles on each, but, don't confuse a state with a culture. People on both sides of the Taiwan Strait believe in a "one China policy". Although maybe less all the time.

Likewise, Korea is one culture with two states. Almost everyone thinks they will eventually re-unify.

I don't see why you cropped the page on the Chinese history. It provides a better view. Please put it back
