Virtual community

A virtual community is the group of people who share an interest or set of views. A virtual community does not exist in any one place in the world. The people in it may come from many different places.

Virtual communities communicate (talk) with each other using technology, such as the Internet, telephone calls, and the mail. The most common is the Internet.
