Talk:North America

History of North America and Culture of North America need to be articles that are separate from that on the three states in that continent. It's more sensible to say there are nine or so cultures (plus subcultures) in North America, but there are only three states legally, for now.

In general, we would be best off treating natural history and the changes in flora and fauna, including human-caused change due to agriculture, desertification, deforestation, and other stupidity, as something like natural history of the Nearctic Ecozone, rather than trying to deal with nature using national boundaries that change.
