September begins on the same day of week as December every year.

In Ancient Greece, September was called Boedromion.

September's flower is the Aster with the birthstone being the Sapphire. The meaning of the Sapphire is Love.

It is also known for being the month in which Louise Cabry [16] broke the land speed record for and electrical powered Tractor. This was on the 13th of the month, 2000 and is celebrated anually by the many tribes of Kenya.
