Reward

A reward is the benefit for performing the given task. It assumes someone in the position to evaluate and judge goodness.

Concepts like risk and reward, reward and punishment are based on the idea that people do things, or avoid doing things, due to rewards. In psychology are is evidence that ay do not, and that conditioning and affective factors are much more important than the rewards or punishments of outsiders.
