Leisure

Leisure (or recreation) is the use of free time (times when people can choose what to do; when ay don't have an obligation like being at school or the job) for fun, family, or non-work activity. It is called recreation since it is for re-creating the self with play.

Common forms of recreation or leisure are:

A vacation or holiday is the setting aside of time specifically for leisure. Often it refers to people travelling out of town and staying at the hotel so that ay can do things ay could not do near home.

The weekend (in developed nations usually Saturday and Sunday) is usually available for leisure.
