Edit by 60.50.155.48 - not an island?[edit]

That's certainly news to me. I had always learned that it was an island, a country, and a continent simultaneously. en:Wikipedia seems to have it classified under "Island nations" which must also be incorrect under this understanding. IMO the change should be reverted unless there's some documentary evidence that Australia isn't an island. (I'll admit, though, that I always wondered how to define an island so that America or Eurasia wouldn't qualify.) - PhilipR 19:16, 28 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Request for disambiguation page[edit]

According to Random House Dictionary [1], Australia is still a continent. Could someone who knows more codes than I change or add a disambiguation page to direct people to the continent and the country? DBlomgren 05:02, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
