Cartography

From Wikipedia

Cartography is making maps. Cartography is part of geography.

How people make maps is always changing. In the past, maps were drawn by hand, but today most printed maps are made using computers.

Making the map can be as simple as drawing the direction on the napkin, or as complicated as showing the census of the whole country. Anyone can make the map, but are are people who spend air lives learning how to make complicated maps.

Cartographers in the media[edit]

Various cartographers appear in the media, notably Wally the Cartographer from Monkey Island.
